(At this time interested persons may be heard after being recognized by the chairman.

Written communications may be received for all applications until the public hearing is closed.  Applications and plans may be seen and examined in the Planning and Zoning Office, Room 203, Town Hall, 110 Myrtle Avenue, Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 8:30 am to 3:00 pm  Tuesday and Thursday 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.)

 

The Commission will not start a public hearing on any applications after 10:00 p.m.  The Commission will adjourn no later than 11:00 p.m.

 

  1. 1 Surf Road(The following application will be opened and continued to 3/6/14.  No testimony will be taken at this hearing) Appl. #14-002 by Stephen and Jari Siu for property owned by Stephen Siu for a CAM Site Plan approval for replacement of existing bulkhead and to create a sand dune in a Res A zone, PID #B01012000.
  2. Amendment #668:  (The following application was opened and continued from 2/20/14.  Testimony has been taken) Appl. #13-063 by Lawrence P. Weisman for a text amendment to the zoning regulations to amend §26-1.3 (Removal), to delete the words “or Special Permit application” and to add the words “ and b) applications to amend previously approved  Special Permits in a Design Development District, provided that such amendments shall not increase either existing lot coverage or existing building coverage by more than 20%, but in no event will the final coverage calculation be more than permitted in §26-2.7.”

Amendment #669:  Appl. #13-065 by DC Kemper-Gunn LLC, c/o Karen Johnson for a text amendment to the zoning regulations to modify §29A (Business Center District/Historic) BCD/H specifically to modify §29A-1 Purpose, to modify §29A-4 Setbacks, to modify §29A-8.2 FAR, to modify §29A-9.3 New additions and infill to historic buildings and additional buildings on the lot, to modify §29A-12 Landscaping, Screening and Buffer Areas to allow for the relocation of historic buildings.  Applicant’s presentation time:  15 minutes
