Notice is hereby given that the Board of Selectmen, Traffic Authority and Water Pollution Control Authority will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, January 8, 2014 at 8:30 a.m. in Room 309/307 of the Westport Town Hall for the following purpose(s):
1.To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve the minutes of the Board of Selectmen’s public hearing of December 11, 2013, and the minutes of the Water Pollution Control Authority’s public hearing of December 11, 2013.
2.To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve the use of of town-owned property known as Jesup Green by the Westport Garden Club for the Annual Plant Sale on May 8, 2014 and May 9, 2014, contingent upon compliance with comments from various town departments and in accordance with Procedures for Use of Town-owned Property, Facilities and/or Public Roadways, as amended Sept. 15, 2010.
3.To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve the use of certain town roadways by TT Endurance/Trifitness (Target Training) Triathlon for a portion of the event known as the Sherwood Island Triathlon on June 15, 2014, contingent upon compliance with comments from various town departments and in accordance with Procedures for Use of Town-owned Property, Facilities and/or Public Roadways, as amended Sept. 15, 2010.
4.To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve the acceptance of monetary gifts from community residents to the Town of Westport Human Services Department 2013 Holiday Program, in accordance with the Policy for Gifts to the Town, as amended October 28, 1998.
5.To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve the acceptance of a monetary gift to the Town of Westport Parks & Recreation Department to purchase handicap accessible picnic tables to be placed at Longshore Pavilion and Compo Beach, in accordance with the Policy for Gifts to the Town, as amended October 28, 1998.
6.To take such action as the meeting may determine, to approve RECing Crew program fees as recommended by the Parks and Recreation Director, as follows:

7.To take such action as the meeting may determine, upon recommendation of the Public Works Director, to approve a Memorandum of Agreement Regarding Use of State of Connecticut Office of Policy and Management 2011 Regional Performance Incentive Program Grant and Ownership of Equipment Acquired with Grant Funding, and to authorize First Selectman James S. Marpe to sign such documentation on behalf of the Town of Westport.
