REVISED Notice & Agenda
Notice is hereby given that the Board of Selectmen, Traffic Authority and Water Pollution Control Authority will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, January 22, 2014 at 9:30 a.m. in Room 309/307 of the Westport Town Hall for the following purpose(s):
1. To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve the minutes of the Board of Selectmen’s public hearing of January 8, 2014, and the minutes of the Board of Selectmen’s special public hearing of January 10, 2014.
2. To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve the acceptance of monetary gifts from community residents to the Town of Westport Human Services Department 2013 Holiday Program, in accordance with the Policy for Gifts to the Town, as amended October 28, 1998.
3. To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve the acceptance of monetary gifts from the Westport/Weston Chamber of Commerce and an anonymous local resident to the Town of Westport Human Services Department Families in Need Fund, in accordance with the Policy for Gifts to the Town, as amended October 28, 1998.
4. To take such action as the meeting may determine, upon recommendation of the Human Services Director, to approve the 2013-2014 Memorandum of Understanding between Connecticut Light and Power Company (“CL&P”) and Yankee Gas and the Town of Westport as it relates to the completion of the 2013-2014 energy season processing for CL&P/Yankee Gas energy assistance applicants.
5. To take such action as the meeting may determine, upon recommendation of the Human Services Director, to approve the Memorandum of Understanding between the Town of Westport and Connecticut In-Home Assistance, LLC for the provision of certified nurse’s aide or home health aide services in the event a Town emergency shelter is activated.
6. To take such action as the meeting may determine, upon recommendation of the Human Services Director, to approve the Memorandum of Understanding between the Town of Westport and Comfort Keepers for the provision of certified nurse’s aide or home health aide services in the event a Town emergency shelter is activated.
7. To take such action as the meeting may determine, upon recommendation of the Director of Public Works, to refer to the Representative Town Meeting, the Greater Bridgeport Regional Solid Waste Interlocal Agreement among the Town of Westport, the Towns of Bethany, Easton, Fairfield, Monroe, Orange, Stratford, Trumbull and Woodbridge, and the cities of Bridgeport and Milford.
8. To take such action as the meeting may determine, upon recommendation of the Director of Public Works, to approve an Interconnection Agreement among the Town of Westport, CL&P, and Solar City Corporation, as it relates to the installation of solar panels at the Golf Maintenance Building at 260 Compo Road South and the Public Works Center at Sherwood Island Connector.
