 LEGAL NOTICE OF DECISION

WESTPORT CONSERVATION COMMISSION

JANUARY 15, 2014

 

Notice is hereby given that the Conservation Commission made the following decisions at its January 15, 2014 public hearing in conformance with the Connecticut Inland Wetlands and Watercourses Act and the Town of Westport’s Regulations for the Protection and Preservation of Wetlands and Watercourses and the Waterway Protection Line Ordinance.

 

THE FOLLOWING APPLICATIONS WERE APPROVED WITH CONDITIONS:

 

  1. 5 River Lane:  Application #AA,WPL/E-9639-13 by Ochman Assoc. on behalf of River Lane LLC for a 2-lot subdivision.
  2. 2 Pierway Landing:  Application #WPL-9657-13 by Kate Throckmorton of Environmental Land Solutions on behalf of Colin & Clara Ambrose for an inground pool with on-grade patio and an expansion of the existing raised deck. Work is within the WPLO area of the Saugatuck River.
  3. 9 Crooked Mile Road:  Application #IWW,WPL-9683-13 by J. Edwards & Associates LLC on behalf of Robyn Linker to construct deck stairs, patio and retaining wall. Work is within the upland review area setbacks and the WPLO area of the Saugatuck River.
  4. 129 Harbor Road:  Application #WPL-9684-13 by William A Achilles Jr., Achilles Architects, on behalf of Matthew S Forelli for house lifting above the FEMA flood line with ground level mostly open, new wood front and rear stairs with porches/decks, second floor and elevator, removal of some existing decks with pervious paving, new site drainage and plantings, relocated/raised oil tank, generator & a/c units. Work is within the WPLO area of the Saugatuck River.
  5. 41 Crescent Road:  Application #IWW-9561-13 by Land-Tech Consultants, Inc on behalf of Mary Ann Quick and Edward Bella to retain the existing single family dwelling and subdivide the property into four new single family building lots some of which contain wetlands.

 

Application, plans, and decision may be examined in the Conservation Department, Room 205, Westport Town Hall, 110 Myrtle Avenue, Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. excluding holidays.
