Westport Historic District Commission
Public Hearing - January 14, 2014
The Westport Historic District Commission will hold a public hearing at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 14, 2014 in Town Hall Room 201 for the following purposes:
1. To hear Chair’s report and update on current HDC activities.
2. To approve the minutes of the December 10, 2013 work session and public hearing.
3. To approve a Certificate of Appropriateness Application for proposed exterior changes to the main house at 46 Wright Street located in the Kings Highway North Historic District.
4. To hear comments from a Maplewood Avenue resident regarding the proposed designation of Maplewood Avenue as a local historic district.
5. To review draft study report prepared by Bob Weingarten for proposed Maplewood Avenue Local Historic District designation.
6. To take such action as the meeting may determine to waive the balance of the delay period for a demolition permit application at 57 Post Road West, c. 1825, identified on the Historic Resources Inventory.
7. To take such action as the meeting may determine to waive the balance of the delay period for a demolition permit application at 63 Post Road West, c. 1850, identified on the Historic Resources Inventory (field card address is 57 Post Road West).
8. To take such action as the meeting may determine to waive the balance of the delay period for a demolition permit application at 69-73 Post Road West (field card address is 57 Post Road West).
9. To take such action as the meeting may determine to waive the balance of the delay period for a demolition permit application at 79 Post Road West c. 1875, identified on the Historic Resources Inventory.
10. To take such action as the meeting may determine to waive the balance of the delay period for a demolition permit application for buildings at 335 Post Road West.
11. To take such action as the meeting may determine to waive the balance of the delay period for a demolition permit application at 122 Harbor Road
12. To take such action as the meeting may determine to waive the balance of the delay period for a demolition permit application at 10 Wakeman Place.
13. To take such action as the meeting may determine to waive the balance of the delay period for a demolition permit application at 112 Imperial Avenue.
14. To take such action as the meeting may determine to waive the balance of the delay period for a demolition permit application at 17 Dover Road.
15. To take such action as the meeting may determine to waive the balance of the delay period for a demolition permit application at 8 Vani Court.
16. To take such action as the meeting may determine to waive the balance of the delay period for a demolition permit application at 11 Kirock Place.
17. To take such action as the meeting may determine to waive the balance of the delay period for a demolition permit application at 165 Cross Highway.
18. To approve the National Register Nomination at 93 Cross Highway.
19. To nominate a slate of officers for 2014 pending the appointments made by the first selectman.
