Notice is hereby given that the Board of Selectmen, Traffic Authority and Water Pollution Control Authority will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, December 11, 2013, at 8:30 a.m. in Room 309/307 of the Westport Town Hall for the following purpose(s):
1.To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve the minutes of the Board of Selectmen’s public hearing of Nov 21, 2013.
2.To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve the use of town-owned property known as the Jesup Green by the Westport Library for the Library’s Annual Book Sale Between July 12, 2014 and July 23, 2014, contingent upon compliance with comments from various town departments and in accordance with Procedures for Use of Town-owned Property, Facilities and/or Public Roadways, as amended Sept. 15, 2010.
3.To take such action as the meeting may determine, upon the recommendation of David Mann of the Green Task Force, to approve an agreement between the Town of Westport and the Clean Energy Finance and Investment Authority, contingent upon the Town being selected to participate in the Energy Efficiency Thermal Imaging Program.
4.To take such action as the meeting may determine, upon the recommendation of David Mann of the Green Task Force, to approve an agreement by and between the Town of Westport and the Connecticut Light & Power Company, for the use of a Bright Idea Grant in the amount of $10,000 to implement one or more energy saving projects in the Town of Westport.
5.To take such action as the meeting may determine, upon the recommendation of the Town Clerk, to approve the “Electronic Recording Agreement” between the Town of Westport, Town Clerk of Westport and companies to be chosen by the Town Clerk to act as delivery agents for the electronic recording of documents on the Westport land records.
6.To take such action as the meeting may determine, upon the recommendation of the Finance Director, to approve an agreement between the Town of Westport and The SpyGlass Group, LLC, for analyzing and auditing the Town’s telecommunications service accounts.
7.To take such action as the meeting may determine, acting in its capacity as the Water Pollution Control Authority, to approve a residential sanitary sewer connection at property located at 3 Colony Road, contingent upon compliance with the WPCA Coordinator’s letter of November 15, 2013.
