LEGAL NOTICE AND AGENDA
The Westport Historic District Commission will hold a public hearing at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 9, 2013 in Town Hall Room 201 for the following purposes:
- To hear Chairman’s report and update on current HDC activities.
- To approve the minutes of the June 11, 2013 public hearing.
- To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve a Certificate of Appropriateness Application for the proposed partial reconstruction due to storm damage of the exterior dormer, second floor walls, sleeping porch, and related roofs at 53 Kings Highway North located in the Kings Highway North Historic District.
- To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve a Certificate of Appropriateness Application for proposed addition at 6 Old Hill Road located in the Kings Highway North Historic District.
- To review and comment on CT Trust Vibrant Communities Initiative Grant application for proposed downtown village district designation project.
- To review and comment to Planning and Zoning Commission on proposed site plan application at 561 Post Road East, Terrain, which includes the preservation of the 19th century wooden frame structure to meet the overall parking demands of the Terrain project and the zoning requirements for parking spaces.
- To comment on the proposed demolition and development of the duplex property at 149-151 Compo Road South identified on the Historic Resources Inventory, c. 1910.
- To take such action as the meeting may determine to waive the balance of the delay period for a demolition permit application at 295 Saugatuck Avenue.
- To take such action as the meeting may determine to waive the balance of the delay period for a demolition permit application at 9 Hen Hawk Lane.
- To take such action as the meeting may determine to reconsider waiving the balance of the delay period for a demolition permit application at 37 Evergreen Parkway.
- To take such action as the meeting may determine to waive the balance of the delay period for a demolition permit application at 6 Gault Park Drive.
- To take such action as the meeting may determine to waive the balance of the delay period for a demolition permit application at 33 Green Acre Lane.
- To take such action as the meeting may determine to waive the balance of the delay period for a demolition permit application at 305 Compo Road South.
