Revised to add RTM Finance, Public Works & Environment Committees


The RTM Heath & Human Services Committee, RTM Public Works Committee, RTM Finance Committee and RTM Environment Committee will meet on Tuesday, June 25, 2013 at 7:00 p.m. in Room 201 at Town Hall for the following purpose(s):


7:00 p.m. – Health & Human Services Committee will discuss:


1. An information session by and discussion with Health Dept Director Mark Cooper, concerning at CT Health Dept well-water testing program to be conducted (voluntarily) on private wells in northern Westport.  Other RTM reps, particularly those from Districts 3 and 8 are encouraged to participate in this discussion.


7:30 P.M. – Public Works Committee and Finance Committee will discuss:


2.  Department of Public Works request for an appropriation for a new backhoe.



7:45 p.m. – Health & Human Services Committee, Public Works Committee, & Environment Committee will discuss:


3. Discussion of a petition requesting the RTM review and recommend changes to the WPCA rules and policies regarding sewer extensions, with Director of Public Works, Steve Edwards, particularly regarding implications of assessments on homeowners on fixed incomes.
