(At this time interested persons may be heard after being recognized by the chairman.

Written communications may be received for all applications until the public hearing is closed.  Applications and plans may be seen and examined in the Planning and Zoning Office, Room 203, Town Hall, 110 Myrtle Avenue, Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 8:30 am to 3:00 pm  Tuesday and Thursday 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.)

 

The Commission will not start a public hearing on any applications after 10:00 p.m.  The Commission will adjourn no later than 11:00 p.m.

 

  1. 1032 Post Road East(The following application will be opened and continued to 7/11/13.  No testimony will be taken at this hearing)  Appl. #13-020 by Rick Hoag for property owned by 1032 Post Road East, LLC for a Site Plan approval for renovation of existing structure and new parking layout in a HSD zone, PID #F09054000.
  2. 561 Post Road East:  (The following application was opened and continued from 5/30/13 and further continued to 7/18/13.  Testimony was taken at hearing) Appl. #13-019 by Kenneth Nemeth /Urban Outfitters for property owned by CJ Curran, LLC and WHK, LLC for a Site Plan approval for additional parking spaces to be constructed as activation for future reserve parking, in a RBD zone, PID #E09670000. 
  3. Amendment #660:  Appl. #13-018 by Lawrence Weisman and Mel Barr for a text amendment to the zoning regulations to modify Sec. 34-11.2 (Curb Cuts and Access Drives) to allow a third driveway on corner lots to serve the residential portion of the site, to modify Sec. 39A-3.1 (Designation/Uses Permitted) to allow 25% of parking and loading to serve non-residential uses in the residence district on corner lots only, to modify Sec. 39A-14 (Parking) to restrict parking between building and arterial street only and to restrict parking between building and street with greater frontage on corner lots.  Applicant’s presentation time: 20 Minutes
