LEGAL NOTICE OF DECISION

 

Notice is hereby given that at a meeting held on June 5, 2013 the Westport Flood and Erosion Control Board took the following actions:

  1. 79 Newtown Turnpike AKA 333 Wilton Road/Application IWW/WPL #9431-13; APPROVED WITH CONDITIONS Application of Land-Tech Consultants for the expansion and modification of an existing parking lot.  A portion of the work is within the WPLO setback of unnamed wetlands.
  2. 31 Owenoke Park/Application WPL #9463-13; APPROVED WITH CONDITIONS  Application of McChord Engineering for the installation of a retaining wall.  Work is within the 100 year floodline of Gray’s Creek (Saugatuck River.
  3. 6 Harbor Road/Application WPL #9466-13; APPROVED WITH CONDITIONS Application of Lucky Four Realty for the construction of a new house and associated site improvements.  Work is within the 100 year floodline of the Saugatuck River.
  4. 6 Sea Spray Road/Application WPL #9467-13; APPROVED WITH CONDITIONS Application of William A. Achilles Jr. for the lifting of a house, construction of front and rear entries, an addition and associated site improvements.  Work is within the 100 year floodline of the Saugatuck River.
  5. 3 Old Mill Road/Application WPL #9468-13; APPROVED WITH CONDITIONS Application of Barr Associates for the lifting of a house, the construction of front and rear entries and associated site improvements.  Work is within the 100 year floodline of the Sherwood Mill Pond.
  6. 15 Apple Tree Trail/Application WPL #9469-13; APPROVED WITH CONDITIONS Application of Barr Associates for the construction of a new house, pool, and associated site improvements.  Work is within the 100 year floodline of the Saugatuck River.
  7. 295 & 297 Saugatuck Avenue/Application WPL #9470-13; APPROVED WITH CONDITIONS Application of Barr Associates/Peter Cadoux Architects for a proposed lot merger with removal of an existing house and associated amenities and the construction of a new house and associated site improvements.  Work is within the 100 year floodline of the Saugatuck River.



 

Applications, plans and decisions may be examined in the Public Works Office, Room 210, Town Hall, 110 Myrtle Avenue, Monday through Friday, 8:30-4:30.
