The Westport Historic District Commission will hold a work session at 6:30 p.m. and a public hearing at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 9, 2013 in Town Hall Room 201 for the following purposes: 

WORK SESSION

1. To review and comment on a  pre-application for proposed modifications to the Taylor-Dennert house at 6 Old Hill Road located in the Kings Highway North Historic District.

PUBLIC HEARING

2. To elect Historic District Commission officers for the year 2013. 

3. To hear Chairman’s report and update on current HDC activities. 

4. To approve the minutes of the March 12, 2013 public hearing. 

5. To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve the final study report for the proposed local historic property designation at 25 Avery Place, the Bradley-Wheeler House and Cobblestone Barn. 

6. To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve a Certificate of Appropriateness Application for proposed repairs and maintenance at 111 Kings Highway North located in the Kings Highway North Historic District. 

7. To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve a Certificate of Appropriateness Application for proposed driveway signage at 5A - 5E Gorham Avenue located in the Gorham Avenue Historic District and subject to the conditions of stipulated judgment. 

8. To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve a Certificate of Appropriateness Application for proposed modifications to the barn at 57 Wright Street, located in the Kings Highway North Historic District. 

9. To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve a Certificate of Appropriateness Application for proposed construction of a goat shed and greenhouse at Wakeman Town Farm, a local historic landmark property located at 134 Cross Highway. 

10. To take such action as the meeting may determine to reconsider waiving the balance of the delay period for a demolition permit application at 25 Norwalk Avenue. 

11. To take such action as the meeting may determine to waive the balance of the delay period for a demolition permit application at 3 Sharp Turn Road. 

12. To take such action as the meeting may determine to waive the balance of the delay period for a demolition permit application at 22 Jennings Court. 

13. To take such action as the meeting may determine to waive the balance of the delay period for a demolition permit application at 2 Bluewater Hill. 

14. To take such action as the meeting may determine to waive the balance of the delay period for a demolition permit application at 7 Old Orchard Road. 

15. To take such action as the meeting may determine to waive the balance of the delay period for a demolition permit application at 44 Spicer Road. 

16. To take such action as the meeting may determine to waive the balance of the delay period for a demolition permit application at 32 Bermuda Road. 

17. To take such action as the meeting may determine to waive the balance of the delay period for a demolition permit application at 68 Harbor Road.
