The Westport Historic District Commission will hold a public hearing at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 12, 2013 in Town Hall Room 201 for the following purposes:
PUBLIC HEARING
- To elect Historic District Commission officers for the year 2013.
- To hear Chairman’s report and update on current HDC activities.
- To approve the minutes of the February 12, 2013 public hearing.
- To review comments made by the Planning and Zoning Commission and State Historic Preservation Office on the study report for proposed local historic designation at 25 Avery Place.
- To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve a Certificate of Appropriateness Application for proposed exterior changes to a barn at 57 Wright Street located in the Kings Highway North Historic District.
- *To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve a Certificate of Appropriateness Application for private driveway signage at 5, 5A, 5B, 5C, 5D and 5E Gorham Avenue located in the Gorham Avenue Historic District. WITHDRAWN BY THE APPLICANT
- To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve a Certificate of Appropriateness Application for proposed installation of solar panels, installation of an electric vehicle charging station, and installation of a sign at the charging station for public notice at 61 Jesup Road located in the Jesup Road Historic District.
- To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve a Certificate of Appropriateness Application for proposed installation of a generator at Old Town Hall, 90 Post Road East located in the Jesup Road Historic District.
- To take such action as the meeting may determine to waive the balance of delay for a demolition permit application at 10 Harding Lane.
- To take such action as the meeting may determine to waive the balance of delay for a demolition permit application at 3 Bluewater Hill.
- To take such action as the meeting may determine to waive the balance of delay for a demolition permit application at 3 Rustic Lane.
- To take such action as the meeting may determine to waive the balance of delay for a demolition permit application at 25 Norwalk Avenue.
- To take such action as the meeting may determine to waive the balance of delay for a demolition permit application at 17 Dogwood Lane.
- To take such action as the meeting may determine to waive the balance of delay for a demolition permit application at 95 Bayberry Lane.
