LEGAL NOTICE OF HEARING

The Zoning Board of Appeals of Westport will hold a Public Hearing in Town Hall, 110 Myrtle Avenue on Tuesday, April 26, 2011 at 7:30 p.m. in Town Hall to hear the following applications seeking relief from the Westport Zoning Regulations:

1. 130 Compo Road South: ZBA Appl. #6957 by John Rountree for property owned by John & Cheryl Rountree for a variance to Sec 6-3.1 (non-conforming setbacks), Sec 13-4 (setbacks) to demolish existing shed and detached one car garage to rebuild new one car garage in same footprint in a Res A zone, PID# D07051000.

2. 1510 Post Road East: ZBA Appl. #6958 by Kenneth Kronberg for property owned by Westport Realty LLC, for a variance to Sec 24-10 (GBD signs), Sec 33-7.1.2 (more than three wall signs), Sec 33-7.4.1 (more than one free-standing sign), Sec 33-7.4.5 (more than 32 sq. ft. of free standing signs), to legalize the existing signage including logos, banding, wall signs, canopy, pump faces and free standing signs, over number allowed & over square footage allowed in a GBD zone, PID# H09015000.

3. 30 Charles Street: ZBA Appl. #6962 by Barr Associates, LLC for property owned by 30 Charles Street, LLC, for a variance to Sec 6-2.1 (expansion of non conforming building), Sec 6-3.1 (non conforming setbacks), Sec 24-4 (GBD setbacks), Sec 32-9 (refuse disposal, dumpsters & compactors), Sec 34-11.14 (design and access to dumpster area) Sec 35-2.2 (front landscape area), Sec 33-3.3 (sign above lowest point of main roof), for restaurant renovations with replacement of roof top mechanicals, new entry landings and canopy, new dumpster and transformer location, new vestibule and signage in a GBD zone, PID #B05092000.

4. 70 North Ave: ZBA Appl. #6960 by Westport Board of Education for property owned by the Town of Westport for a variance to Sec 11-6 (coverage), to construct a timber storage shed and scorer’s area on the roof, located at the Ginny Parker Field Hockey Field, on the Staples High School site, in a Res AAA zone, PID# F12077000.

5. 15 Owenoke Park: ZBA Appl. #6961 by Barr Associates LLC, for property owned by Deepdale Holdings LLC, for a variance to Sec 6-2-1 (non-conforming buildings & structures), Sec 6-2.2 (coverage), Sec 6-3.1 (non-conforming setbacks), Sec 6-3.3 (non-conforming height), Sec 13-4 (setbacks), Sec 13-5 (height) and Sec 13-6 (coverage) for legalization of existing house, garage, and deck in setbacks and over coverage with additions and modifications with new pool and mechanical equipment in a Res A zone, PID# D03169000.

6. 37 Sherwood Drive: ZBA Appl. #6951 by Victor Chaves for property owned by Victor Chaves for a variance to Sec 6-2.1 (expansion of non-conforming building), Sec 6-2.2 (non conforming coverage), Sec 6-3 (non-conforming lots), Sec 14-3 (lot area and shape), Sec 14-4 (setbacks), Sec 14-6 (coverage) to change angle of roof, add dormers, add roof deck, legalize existing deck, front patio, spa and air conditioner in setback and over coverage, in a Res B zone, PID# E04030000.

At this Hearing interested persons may be heard and written communications received for all applications. These applications may be seen and examined in the office of the Zoning Board of Appeals, Room 203, Town Hall, 110 Myrtle Avenue, Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 8:30 am to 3:00 pm and Tuesday and Thursday, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.
