LEGAL NOTICE & AGENDA
Notice is herby given that the Board of Selectmen, Traffic Authority and Water Pollution Control Authority will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, April 12, 2011 at 4 p.m. in Room 309 of the Westport Town Hall for the following purpose(s):
1. To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve the minutes of the Board of Selectman’s public hearing of March 24, 2011; and to approve the minutes of the Water Pollution Control Authority’s public hearing of March 24, 2011.
2. To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve a request to the Traffic Authority for use of certain town-owned roadways for the Annual NorWALK, BIKE & RUN event sponsored by the Child Guidance Center of Mid-Fairfield County to be held on Sunday, June 5, 2011, contingent upon compliance with comments from town departments including the Westport/Weston Health District and in accordance with the Procedures for Use of Town-Owned Property, Facilities and/or Public Roadways.
3. To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve the use of town-owned property known as the Imperial Avenue parking lot for the 2011 Westport Farmers’ Summer Market beginning on May 26, 2011 through November 3, 2011, contingent upon compliance with comments from town departments including the Westport/Weston Health District and in accordance with the Procedures for Use of Town-Owned Property, Facilities and/or Public Roadways.
4. To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve the Merchant Services Agreement between the Town of Westport and Heartland Payment Systems, Jeffersonville, IN, for the Parks and Recreation fuel credit card services.
5. To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve an agreement between the Town of Westport and Wellspeak Dugas & Kane, LLC. as relates to an appraisal of the town-owned property known as Baron’s South, contingent upon appropriation approval by the Board of Finance.
