Notice is hereby given that the Deer Management Committee subcommittee concerning Deer Population Control Methods will hold a public meeting on Thursday, Sept 27, 2012, at 7:00 p.m. in the Green Room of the Westport Town Hall.
Agenda:
1. Review and acceptance of minutes from Aug 22, 2012 subcommittee D meeting.
2. Michele will report on her conversation with Alan Rutberg regarding PZP sterilization
3. Alan will report on his conversation with Peter Swiderski, the mayor of Hastings for information regarding their sterilization plan
4. Alan will report from the DEEP about regulations/obtaining permission for implementing a sterilization plan
5. Alan will report on information from the Audubon regarding available open space
6. Peter will bring annual deer kill numbers for individual Fairfield County towns.
7. Peter will bring tick drag reports from Kirby Stafford for various Fairfield County towns where they have been done.
8. Date for next meeting will be set.
