The RTM Finance, RTM Public Works, RTM Public Protection, RTM Parks & Recreation and the RTM Transit Committees will meet jointly on Tuesday, March 19, 2024 at 7:30PM. There is no physical location for this meeting. It will be held electronically.

Agenda 

  1. Upon the request of the Parks & Recreation Director, to approve an Appropriation in the amount of $186,590 to the Capital and Non-Recurring Account 31508810-500463-10140 for the Comprehensive Beach Resiliency Planning Study. 

     

  2. Upon the request of the Fire Department Deputy Chief, to approve an appropriation of $110,000 from the Capital and Non-Recurring Fund Account 31502220-500188 for work to update and merge FD conceptual plans to include PD and EMS in a new concept analysis for a Joint Public Safety Facility. 

     

  3. Upon the request of the Director of Public Works, to approve an appropriation of $630,000 from the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) Fund 51003310-500189-13012 for design and permitting of the redevelopment of Jesup Green and the Imperial Lot. 

     

  4. Upon the request of the Director of Public Works, to approve an appropriation of $1,295,000 along with bond and note authorization to the Asphalt Paving Projects-School Fund 30506650-500344- 10114 for parking lot repaving, curbing, and sidewalk improvements at Staples High School. 

     

  5. Upon the request of the Director of Public Works, to approve an appropriation of $253,000 from the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) Fund 51003310-500386 for the replacement of the Cooling Tower and two Heat Pumps at the Westport Center for Senior Activities (WCSA). 

     

  6. Upon the request of the Director of Public Works, to approve an appropriation of $156,000 from the Sewer Reserve Fund 32003330-50087 the Installation of a Building Management System with Direct Digital Control (DDC) of HVAC equipment.
