LEGAL NOTICE OF AGENDA
WESTPORT SHELLFISH COMMISSION
FEBRUARY 7, 2024
Notice is hereby given that a Regular Meeting of the Westport Shellfish Commission is scheduled for Wednesday, February 7, 2024 at 6:30 p.m. in Room 309 of Westport Town Hall.
The Commission will take such action as the meeting may determine regarding the following:
1. New Business
a. Review of water quality sampling in New Creek and other waterbodies testing with Nikki Spiller of HarborWatch. Discussion of continued support for testing in New Creek.
b. Discussion with Hunter Peterson about proposed business.
2. Approval of the December 6, 2023 minutes.
3. Treasurers Report
4. Police Report
5. Recreational Shellfish Report
a. Review of 2024 renewal season
6. Old Business
a. Update by Dick Harris on PFA sampling in the Saugatuck River.
b. Discussion of CORR program.
7. Other Business
a. Update from Gathering of Shellfish Commissions
8. Next Steps
