Notice & Agenda 

Notice is hereby given that the Westport Board of Selectwomen, Traffic Authority, and Water Pollution Control Authority will hold a public meeting on Wednesday, November 27, 2024 at 9:00 AM in the Westport Town Hall Auditorium, 110 Myrtle Avenue, Westport, Connecticut. The meeting will be livestreamed on www.westportct.gov and/or broadcast on Westport’s Optimum Government Access Channel 79, subject to availability. Comments from the public regarding agenda items may be sent for distribution to the Board prior to the meeting to selectwoman@westportct.gov. Agenda to include but not be limited to the following items and is subject to revision: 

  1. To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve the minutes of the Board of Selectwomen’s and Water Pollution Control Authority’s public meeting of November 13, 2024. 

     

  2. To take such action as the meeting may determine, upon the recommendation of the Tax Collector and in accordance with C.G.S. Sec. 12-129, to approve the refunds of overpayments of taxes, as presented.

     

  3. To take such action as the meeting may determine, upon the request of the Finance Director, to approve the Retiree Benefit Management Services Agreement between the Town of Westport and Retiree First Limited Liability Company as it relates to retiree health benefit plan management and administration services.
  4. To take such action as the meeting may determine, upon the request of the Director of Public Works, to award a contract to Blakeslee, Arpaia, Chapman, Inc., in the amount of $4,739,725.00, for reconstruction of the Old Mill Tide Gates.

     

  5. To take such action as the meeting may determine, upon the request of the Director of Public Works, to approve a Contract Amendment to the Contract between the Town of Westport and Ben Sykas, Arb-Logic, LLC, for tree warden services.

     

  6. To take such action as the meeting determine to review and approve the Policy and Application for the Temporary Placement of a Dumpster on Town Property.

     

  7. Acting as the Water Pollution Control Authority (WPCA), to approve the supplemental sanitary sewer connection at #72 Valley Road, contingent upon the WPCA Collection System Supervisor’s letter of November 19, 2024.

     

  8. Acting as the Water Pollution Control Authority (WPCA), to approve the supplemental sanitary sewer connection at #217 Compo Road South, contingent upon the WPCA Collection System Supervisor’s letter of November 20, 2024.
