Notice is hereby given that the Westport Board of Selectwomen, Traffic Authority, and Water Pollution Control Authority will hold a public meeting on Wednesday, October 23, 2024, at 9:00 AM in the Westport Town Hall Room 201/201A, 110 Myrtle Avenue, Westport, Connecticut. The meeting will be livestreamed on www.westportct.gov and/or broadcast on Westport’s Optimum Government Access Channel 79, subject to availability. Comments from the public regarding agenda items may be sent for distribution to the Board prior to the meeting to selectwoman@westportct.gov. Agenda to include but not be limited to the following items and is subject to revision:
- To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve the minutes of the Board of Selectwomen’s public meeting of October 9, 2024.
- To take such action as the meeting may determine, upon the recommendation of the Tax Collector and in accordance with C.G.S. Sec. 12-129, to approve the refunds of overpayments of taxes, as presented.
- To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve the use and closure of the Town Property known as Sigrid Schultz Plaza on Saturday, December 7, 2024, from 9:00 AM to 10:00 PM for the Westport Downtown Holiday Stroll, sponsored by the Westport Downtown Association, contingent upon compliance with comments from various Town departments and in accordance with the Procedures for Use of Town-owned Property, Facilities and/or Public Roadways.
- To take such action as the meeting may determine, in accordance with the Policy for Gifts to the Town, to approve acceptance of a monetary donation in the amount of $6,000.00 from BMW of Bridgeport for deposit to the Police Department’s K-9 account.
- To take such action as the meeting may determine, upon the request of the Police Department, to approve the agreement between the Town of Westport and Flock Group, Inc. as it relates to the Flock Safety Platform for LPR readers at the Saugatuck Railroad Station.
- To take such action as the meeting may determine, upon the request of the IT Director,to approve the Warranty Agreement between the Town of Westport and CrowdStrike, Inc. as it relates to cybersecurity protection services.
Revision 1 - WITHDRAWN
To take such action as the meeting may determine, upon the request of the IT Director and the Assessor, to approve the amendment to an Agreement between the Town of Westport and Near Map as it relates to inclusion of new software for aerial photography services.
- Acting as the Water Pollution Control Authority (WPCA), to approve the supplemental sanitary sewer connection at #4 Davenport Avenue, contingent upon the WPCA Collection System Supervisor’s letter of October 9, 2024.
- Acting as the Water Pollution Control Authority (WPCA), upon the request of the homeowner and per the WPCA Collection System Supervisor’s letter of October 7, 2024, to rescind the previous approval for a supplemental sanitary sewer connection at #30 Hickory Drive.
- Acting as the Water Pollution Control Authority (WPCA), upon the request of the WPCA Collection System Supervisor, to review and approve the revision to the Town of Westport WPCA Inflow & Infiltration (I&I) Abatement Policy, as previously revised July 22, 2020, in accordance with the wastewater collection system flow evaluation of the Town’s sewer service area.
