Notice & Agenda

 

Notice is hereby given that the Westport Board of Selectwomen, Traffic Authority, and Water Pollution Control Authority will hold a public meeting on Wednesday, July 24, 2024 at 9:00 AM in the Westport Town Hall Auditorium, 110 Myrtle Avenue, Westport, Connecticut. The meeting will be livestreamed on www.westportct.gov and/or broadcast on Westport’s Optimum Government Access Channel 79, subject to availability. Comments from the public regarding agenda items may be sent for distribution to the Board prior to the meeting to selectwoman@westportct.gov. Agenda to include but not be limited to the following items and is subject to revision:

 

  1. To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve the minutes of the Board of Selectwomen’s Regular and the Water Pollution Control Authority’s meetings of June 26, 2024 and July 10, 2024.

     

  2. To take such action as the meeting may determine, upon the recommendation of the Tax Collector and in accordance with C.G.S. Sec. 12-129, to approve the refunds of overpayments of taxes, as presented.

     

  3. To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve the Award of Contract for Bid #24-114T ( Cross Highway Sidewalk Improvements) in the amount of 648,935.00 to Priority Landscaping, LLC, Brookfield, CT.

     

  4. To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve the Bus Shelter Location License Agreement and Easement by and between Post Plaza, LLC and the Town of Westport for the Town to install and maintain a bus shelter at 1076 Post Road East.

     

  5. To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve the Award of Contract for RFP #24-094T (Parks Master Plan Professional Services) in the amount of $239,250.00 to BL Companies, subject to final Town Attorney review.

     

  6. To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve the Award of Contract for Bid #25-118T (Replacement of Doubleday Tennis Courts) in the amount of $503,507.80 to Classic Turf Company, LLC, Woodbury, CT.

     

  7. To take such action as the meeting may determine, upon the request of the Finance Director, to approve the Actuarial Services Agreement by and between the Town of Westport and Milliman, Inc. as it relates to actuarial services associated with the Town’s pension and post-employment benefit fund.

     

  8. To take such action as the meeting may determine, upon the request of the Finance Director, to approve Consulting Contract between the Town of Westport and Marsh & McLennan Agency as it relates to consulting for Workers Compensation, Property and Casualty renewal, analysis, case management and assistance with the Town of Board of Education Safety and Health Committees.

     

  9. To take such action as the meeting may determine, upon the request of the Finance Director, to approve the Consulting Agreement between the Town of Westport and Lockton Consultants for services related to Health, Dental, LTD and Life Insurance for the Town of Board of Education.

     

  10. Acting as the Water Pollution Control Authority (WPCA), to approve the supplemental sanitary sewer connection at #102 Compo Road South, contingent upon compliance with the WPCA Collection System Supervisor’s letter of July 15, 2024.
