The Historic District Commission is hosting a kick-off meeting for the State Historic Preservation Office (SHP0) to announce the development of a new five year comprehensive historic preservation plan on Wednesday, March 23, 2011, in Town Hall, Room 201/201A from 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.  State Historic Preservation Office representatives and the plan project team will be introduced along with an explanation of the plan process and objectives.  Public input into the identification of the challenges and opportunities of historic preservation in Connecticut will be welcomed.
