Notice is hereby given that the Westport Board of Selectwomen, Traffic Authority, and Water Pollution Control Authority will hold a public meeting on Wednesday, July 26, 2023 at 9:00 AM in the Westport Town Hall Auditorium, 110 Myrtle Avenue, Westport, Connecticut. It will be livestreamed on www.westportct.gov and broadcast on Westport’s Optimum Government Access Channel 79. Comments from the public regarding agenda items may be sent to selectwoman@westportct.gov prior to the meeting. Agenda to include but not be limited to the following items (subject to revision):
- To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve the minutes of the Board of Selectwomen’s and the Water Pollution Control Authority’s meetings of meeting of July 12, 2023.
- To take such action as the meeting may determine upon the recommendation of the Tax Collector and in accordance with C.G.S. Sec. 12-129, to approve the refunds of overpayments of taxes, as presented.
- To take such action as the meeting may determine upon the recommendation of the Parks & Recreation Director to approve the Ice Rink License Agreement between the Town of Westport and Police Athletic League for the 2023-2028 skating seasons.
- To take such action as the meeting may determine upon the recommendation of the Parks & Recreation Director, to approve the contract between the Town of Westport and Geese Relief, LLC for Canada Geese Control/Management Services.
- To take such action as the meeting may determine upon the recommendation of the Finance Director, to approve the 2023-2024 Consulting Engagement Letter between the Town of Westport and Marsh & McLennan Agency, LLC for services related to Workers Compensation, Property and Casualty Renewals, and analysis and assistance with the Town and Board of Education Safety and Health Committees.
- To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve the Program Manager Services Agreement between the Town of Westport and Vinmas Corp. for services to be performed by Susan Chipouras for the Long Lots Elementary School Project.
- Acting in its capacity as the Local Traffic Authority, to re-establish the enforcement of timed parking limits in various town-owned downtown parking lots and roadways, previously suspended by the Board of Selectmen at its public meeting of June 10, 2020 in response to the implementation of phased reopening plans due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
- Acting in its capacity as the Water Pollution Control Authority (WPCA), to approve the supplemental sanitary sewer connection at #398 Greens Farms Road, contingent upon compliance with the WPCA Collection System Supervisor’s letter of July 12, 2023.

- To take such action as the meeting may determine upon the request of the Director of Public Works to amend the Hillandale Road Bridge contract with Tighe & Bond to add work set forth in a proposal dated 6-16-2023 for Preliminary Engineering Services for the Center Street and Greens Farms Road Bridges over Muddy Brook.
