Notice & Agenda

Notice is hereby given that the Westport Board of Selectwomen, Traffic Authority, and Water Pollution Control Authority will hold a public meeting on Wednesday, May 10, 2023 at 9:00 AM in the Westport Town Hall Auditorium, 110 Myrtle Avenue, Westport, Connecticut. It will be livestreamed on www.westportct.gov and broadcast on Westport’s Optimum Government Access Channel 79. Comments from the public regarding agenda items may be sent to selectwoman@westportct.gov prior to the meeting. Agenda to include but not be limited to the following items (subject to revision):

1. To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve the minutes of the Board of Selectwomen’s and the Water Pollution Control Authority’s meetings of April 26, 2023.

2. Acting as the Local Traffic Authority, upon the recommendation of the Westport Police Department, to take such action as the meeting may determine to approve a request to the Office of the State Traffic Administration - Division of Traffic Engineering, to increase the exclusive green light left hand turn timing at the State-controlled traffic signal located at the intersection of CT Route 1 (Post Road East) and Myrtle Avenue.

3. To take such action as the meeting may determine upon the request of the Town Clerk, to approve the Contract for PropertyCheck for Resolution3 (for residents to sign up for automatic notification of recorded property records) and the Contract for Hosted Resolution3 and RecordHub Services Renewal (for renewal of and new pricing for the hosted indexing and imaging services for the records of the Town Clerk), both of which are between the Town of Westport and COTT Systems, Inc.

4. Acting in its capacity as the Water Pollution Control Authority (WPCA), to approve the supplemental sanitary sewer connection at #6 Sunrise Road, contingent upon compliance with the WPCA Collection System Supervisor’s letter of May 3, 2023.

5. Acting in its capacity as the Water Pollution Control Authority, to take such action as the meeting may determine to approve the following proposed Sewer Use Fees for 2023:

Use Charge Rate Per CCF Discharged $ 6.20
Minimum Use Charge Rate $ 375.00
Properties on Public Water $ 500.00
Properties on Un-Metered Water Supply
or Well Water $ 500.00
