Notice is hereby given that the Westport Board of Selectwomen, Traffic Authority, and Water Pollution Control Authority will hold a public meeting on Wednesday, April 26, 2023 at 9:00 AM in the Westport Town Hall Auditorium, 110 Myrtle Avenue, Westport, Connecticut. It will be livestreamed on www.westportct.gov and broadcast on Westport’s Optimum Government Access Channel 79 and Frontier Channel 6020. Comments from the public regarding agenda items may be sent to selectwoman@westportct.gov prior to the meeting. Agenda to include but not be limited to the following items (subject to revision):

1. To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve the minutes of the Board of Selectwomen’s and the Water Pollution Control Authority’s meetings of April 12, 2023 and the Board of Selectwomen’s Special Meeting of April 19, 2023.

2. To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve the Pop Up Dining Permit Application for a Pop-Up Cafe to be located in two (2) parking spaces on the Town roadway known as Railroad Place adjacent to the property known as 54 Railroad Place (Allium Eatery), contingent upon compliance with recommendations and final inspections from Town departments and in accordance with the 2023 Pop-Up Dining Permit Policy.

3. To take such action as the meeting may determine, upon the recommendation of the Tax Collector and in accordance with C.G.S. Sec. 12-129, to approve the refunds of overpayments of taxes, as presented.

4. To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve the extended 5-year term renewal of the Software Hosting Service Contract between the Town of Westport and Accela as it relates land use departments’ application software. 

5. To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve the Resolution as it relates to the FFY 2022 State Homeland Security Grant Application to the State of Connecticut Emergency Services and Public Protection, Division of Emergency Management and Homeland Security.

6. To take such action as the meeting may determine, upon the request of the WPD Railroad Operations Director, to approve the proposed rate increases for Railroad Parking fees as follows:

Current Proposed
Single Space Yearly $325.00 $400.00
Double Space Yearly $450.00 $500.00
Daily $5.00 $6.00

7. To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve the appointment of Elector John M. (Sam) Nevin to fill the vacancy in the three-year appointment (expiring March, 2024) to the Non-Union Non-Supervisory and the Non-Union Supervisory Pension Committees of the Town of Westport.

8. To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve the Award of Contract for Sanitary Sewer Contract #72C Bid #23-072T (Pump Station #3 Force Main Replacement, Riverside Avenue- CT Route 33) to Burns Construction of Stratford CT, in the amount of $879,808.00.

9. Acting in its capacity as the Water Pollution Control Authority (WPCA), to approve the supplemental sanitary sewer connection at #67 Kings Highway North, contingent upon compliance with the WPCA Collection System Supervisor’s letter of April 18, 2023.
