Notice & Agenda

Notice is hereby given that the Westport Board of Selectwomen, Traffic Authority, and Water Pollution Control Authority will hold a public meeting on Wednesday, March 22, 2023 at 9:00 AM in the Westport Town Hall Auditorium, 110 Myrtle Avenue, Westport, Connecticut. It will be livestreamed on www.westportct.gov and broadcast on Westport’s Optimum Government Access Channel 79 and Frontier Channel 6020. Comments from the public regarding agenda items may be sent to selectwoman@westportct.gov prior to the meeting. Agenda to include but not be limited to the following items (subject to revision):

1. To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve the minutes of the Board of Selectwomen’s meeting of March 8, 2023.

2. To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve the Pop Up Dining Permit Application for a Pop-Up Cafe to be located in parking space(s) on the Town roadway known as Railroad Place adjacent to the property known as 30 Railroad Place (Tarantino Restaurant), contingent upon compliance with recommendations from Town departments and in accordance with the 2023 Pop-Up Dining Permit Policy.

3. To take such action as the meeting may determine, upon the recommendation of the Tax Collector and in accordance with C.G.S. Sec. 12-129, to approve the refunds of overpayments of taxes, as presented.

It is anticipated that the Board of Selectwomen will vote to enter Executive Session to discuss negotiations related to a Lease of Town owned property.

4. To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve the Fourth Amendment to Lease By and Between the Town of Westport and Longshore Hospitality, LLC, dated January 1, 2007, as it relates to the Town owned property known as the Inn at Longshore.
