Notice & Agenda

Notice is hereby given that the Westport Board of Selectwomen, Traffic Authority, and Water Pollution Control Authority will hold a public meeting on Wednesday, February 22, 2023 at 9:00 AM in the Westport Town Hall Auditorium, 110 Myrtle Avenue, Westport, Connecticut. It will be livestreamed on www.westportct.gov and broadcast on Westport’s Optimum Government Access Channel 79 and Frontier Channel 6020. Comments from the public regarding agenda items may be sent to selectwoman@westportct.gov prior to the meeting. Agenda to include but not be limited to the following items (subject to revision):

1. To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve the minutes of the Board of Selectwomen’s and Water Pollution Control Authority’s meeting of February 8, 2023.

2. Acting in its capacity as the Local Traffic Authority, upon the recommendation of Public Safety officials, to approve the request to the CT DOT for the installation of “Do Not Block Driveway” and “Do Not Block the Intersection” signs on Post Road West at its intersection at Kings Highway North. 

3. To take such action as the meeting may determine, in accordance with Town Charter Chapter C4-6, upon the recommendation of the Parks & Recreation Commission (PRC), to approve proposed 2023 Parks & Recreation fees, as attached and posted with the Town Clerk’s Office on February 16, 2023. 

4. Acting in its capacity as the Water Pollution Control Authority, to conduct a public hearing to determine preliminary benefit assessments to be levied for the construction of a sewer system (Contract No. 75) affecting properties located in all or part of the following areas:

Evergreen Avenue, Evergreen Parkway, Tamarac Road, Lone Pine Lane, Gorham Avenue, Compo Road North and Brookside Drive
