LEGAL NOTICE OF PUBLIC INFORMATION MEETING REGARDING PROPOSED CELL TOWER PURSUANT TO C.G.S. § 16-50l
Notice is hereby given that the Town of Westport and Tarpon Towers II, LLC (“Tarpon”) will hold a remote Public Information Meeting on Tuesday, February 8, 2022, at 7:00 P.M. where Tarpon representatives will present details on its anticipated application for a Certificate of Environmental Compatibility and Public Need with the Connecticut Siting Council for the construction, maintenance and operation of a telecommunications facility located at 92 Greens Farms Road, or alternatively, 55 Greens Farms Road, in Westport. The anticipated cell tower application by Tarpon is intended to provide Cellco Partnership, d/b/a Verizon Wireless (“Verizon”) and New Cingular Wireless PCS, LLC (“AT&T”), and potentially other telecommunications providers, with opportunities to enhance wireless coverage in the area.

Pursuant to Sections 147-153 of the Governor’s Public Act 21-2, there will be no physical location for this meeting. This meeting will be held electronically. Any meeting materials will be posted at www.westportct.gov, on the Planning and Zoning Department web page under “Anticipated Cell Tower Application by Tarpon Towers”.
