Board of Selectwomen Meeting

Notice is hereby given that the Westport Board of Selectwomen, Local Traffic Authority, and Water Pollution Control Authority will hold a public meeting on Wednesday, November 23, 2022 at 9:00 AM in the Westport Town Hall Auditorium, 110 Myrtle Avenue, Westport, Connecticut. It will be livestreamed on www.westportct.gov and broadcast on Westport’s Optimum Government Access Channel 79 and Frontier Channel 6020. Agenda to include the following items (subject to revision):
1. To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve the Minutes of the Board of Selectwomen’s and Water Pollution Control Authority’s meeting of November 9, 2022.
2. To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve the request for a waiver under the Town Policy on Encroachments on Town Property (the “Policy”) as it relates to a portion of the structure at 162 Compo Road South that encroaches on the town right-of-way at Ivanhoe Lane, contingent upon compliance with the Policy and execution of an Encroachment Easement satisfactory to the Town Attorney’s Office.
3. To take such action as the meeting may determine, upon the request of the Director of Parks & Recreation, to approve an extension to the Golf Course Maintenance Agreement between the Town of Westport and BrightView Golf Maintenance, dated November 13, 2013, to extend the term of the Agreement for the professional maintenance of Longshore Golf Course for three (3) years, through December 31, 2025.
4. To take such action as the meeting may determine, upon the request of the Director of Parks & Recreation, to approve the Consulting and License Agreement between the Town of Westport and Amilia Technologies USA, Inc. for consulting and licensing fees related to the Parks and Recreation Department’s financial sustainability policy.
5. To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve a one-time waiver of the lottery requirement under the Policy for Rental of Residential Housing Units to permit Cabin 9 at Longshore to be leased to the current tenant of Cabin 1.
6. To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve the one-year Lease Agreement between the Town of Westport and Philip Restieri for the rental of the town owned property known as 260 Compo Road South, Cabin 9, subject to Board of Finance approval.
7. To take such action as the meeting may determine, in accordance with Section 1-225b of the Connecticut General Statutes, to review and approve the 2023 Calendar of regularly scheduled public meetings of the Board of Selectwomen, Local Traffic Authority and Water Pollution Control Authority.
