Notice & Agenda
Notice is hereby given that the Westport Board of Selectwomen, Local Traffic Authority, and Water Pollution Control Authority will hold a public meeting on Wednesday, September 14, 2022, at 9:00 AM in the Westport Town Hall Auditorium, 110 Myrtle Avenue, Westport, Connecticut. . It will be livestreamed on www.westportct.gov and broadcast on Westport’s Optimum Government Access Channel 79 and Frontier Channel 6020. Agenda to include the following items (subject to revision):
1. To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve the Minutes of the Board of Selectwomen’s meeting of August 24, 2022.
2. To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve a Temporary Construction Easement Agreement between the Town of Westport and 22 Main Associates, LLC as it relates to construction, renovation and floodproofing activity at 22 Main Street that requires a staging area and sidewalk detours on the Town right-of-way adjacent to the property, contingent upon compliance with comments, recommendations and safety requirements from relevant Town Departments.
3. To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve the Second Amendment to Structure Lease Agreement between the Town of Westport and AT&T/New Cingular Wireless PCS, LLC, dated March 22, 2017 and amended April 14, 2021, as it relates to upgraded equipment work and rent increase at Cell Tower Site # CT2153 located at 515 Post Road East, Westport, CT (Westport Fire Department Headquarters).
4. To take such action as the meeting may determine, upon the request of the Department of Human Services, to approve an amendment to the July 2021 Architectural Agreement with O'Riordan Migani Architects LLC for additional services pertaining to the Town of Westport’s Grant SC2015803 administered through the CT Department of Housing/Small Cities Community Development Block Grant for renovations to town owned property known as 45 Jesup Road (Gillespie Center).
5. To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve the Award of Contract for Bid #23-063T: Pavement Preservation and Repairs – Fall 2022) in the amount of $1,019,598.56 to FGB Construction Company, Norwalk, CT.
6. To take such action as the meeting may determine, to award a contract in the amount of $313,500.00, to Tighe and Bond, Inc., for a traffic study, intersection and corridor design, pedestrian bridge design, and preparation of Contract Bid specifications and plans, for the Cross Highway Corridor between North Avenue and Bayberry Lane.
7. Acting in its capacity as the Water Pollution Control Authority, to approve the supplemental sanitary sewer connection at 11 North Avenue, contingent upon compliance with the WPCA Collection System Supervisor’s letter of September 6, 2022.
8. Acting in its capacity as the Water Pollution Control Authority, to approve the supplemental sanitary sewer connection at 29 North Avenue, contingent upon compliance with the WPCA Collection System Supervisor’s letter of September 8, 2022.
