Notice & Agenda

Notice is hereby given that the Westport Board of Selectwomen, Local Traffic Authority, and Water Pollution Control Authority will hold a public meeting on Wednesday, July 27, 2022, at 9:00 AM in the Westport Town Hall Auditorium, 110 Myrtle Avenue, Westport, Connecticut. It will be livestreamed on www.westportct.gov and broadcast on Westport’s Optimum Government Access Channel 79 and Frontier Channel 6020. Agenda to include the following items (subject to revision):

1. To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve the Minutes of the Board of Selectwomen’s meeting of July 13, 2022.

2. To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve a Waiver of the Town Policy on Encroachments on Town Property as it relates to an existing stone wall located within the Town right-of way at 11 Little Fox Lane (postponed from 07-13-2022).

3. To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve the request for a waiver to the Westport Driveway Ordinance (Town Code Sec. 50-340, Article II. Driveways) as it relates to the driveway at 64 Long Lots Road.

4. To take such action as the meting may determine to approve the Consulting Agreement between the Town of Westport and PaleoWest, LLC for the preparation of a town-wide preservation plan as described in the Historic Preservation Enhancement Grant Application.

5. To take such action as the meeting may determine upon the request of the Fire Chief, to approve the contract between the Town of Westport and Marion Body Works, Inc. for two (2) 2024 Spartan Metrostar-Marion Custom Rescue Engines.

6. To take such action as the meeting may determine, upon the recommendation of the Tax Collector and in accordance with C.G.S. Sec. 12-129, to approve the refunds of overpayments of 2020 and 2021 Grand List Year Real Estate, Personal Property and Motor Vehicle taxes, as presented.
