June 8, 2022
Notice & Agenda
Notice is hereby given that the Westport Board of Selectwomen, Local Traffic Authority, and Water Pollution Control Authority will hold a public meeting on Wednesday, June 8, 2022, at 9:00 AM in the Westport Town Hall Auditorium, 110 Myrtle Avenue, Westport, Connecticut. It will be livestreamed on www.westportct.gov and broadcast on Westport’s Optimum Government Access Channel 79 and Frontier Channel 6020. Agenda to include the following items (subject to revision):
1. To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve the Minutes of the Board of Selectwomen’s meeting of May 25, 2022.
2. To take such action as the meeting may determine to review and approve the request for a waiver of the Policy on Encroachments on Town Property as it relates to a decorative stone wall constructed within the town right-of-way at 6 Buena Vista Drive, contingent upon compliance with comments and recommendations from town departments.
3. To take such action as the meeting may determine, upon the request of the Finance Director, to approve the Audit Engagement Letter between the Town of Westport and CliftonLarsonAllen, LLP as it relates to the June 30, 2022 year end audit.
4. To take such action as the meeting may determine, upon the recommendation of the Tax Collector and in accordance with C.G.S. Sec. 12-129, to approve the refunds of overpayments of 2019 and 2020 Grand List Year Real Estate, Sewer and Motor Vehicle taxes, as presented.
5. Acting in its capacity as the Water Pollution Control Authority, to approve the supplemental sanitary sewer connection at 59 Colony Road contingent upon compliance with the WPCA Collection System Supervisor’s letter of May 19, 2022.
6. Acting in its capacity as the Water Pollution Control Authority, to approve the supplemental sanitary sewer connection at 171 Compo Road South contingent upon compliance with the WPCA Collection System Supervisor’s letter of May 19, 2022.
7. Acting in its capacity as the Water Pollution Control Authority, to approve the supplemental sanitary sewer connection at 148 Greens Farms Road contingent upon compliance with the WPCA Collection System Supervisor’s letter of May 24, 2022.
