Notice is hereby given that the Westport Board of Selectwomen, Traffic Authority, and Water Pollution Control Authority will hold a public meeting on Wednesday, March 9, 2022, at 9:00 AM in the Westport Town Hall Auditorium, 110 Myrtle Avenue, Westport, Connecticut. It will be livestreamed on www.westportct.gov and broadcast on Westport’s Optimum Government Access Channel 79 and Frontier Channel 6020. Comments from the public regarding agenda items may be sent to selectwoman@westportct.gov prior to the meeting. Agenda to include but not be limited to the following items (subject to revision):
- To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve the minutes of the Board of Selectwomen’s meeting of February 23, 2022.
- To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve the request for a waiver of the Westport Policy on Encroachments on Town Property for a proposed patio extension that will encroach on to the Town-owned sidewalk adjacent to 33 Jesup Road a/k/a 76 Post Road East (Basso Restaurant).
- To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve the Permit Application for a Pop-Up Cafe to be located in a parking space on the Town roadway known as Railroad Place adjacent to the property known as 30 Railroad Place (Tarantino Restaurant), contingent upon compliance with recommendations from Town departments and in accordance with Procedures for Use of Town-owned Roadways for Pop Up Cafes.

To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve the request from the Westport Downtown Association for the closure of the Town-owned roadway known as Church Lane from Friday, April 1, 2022 to Sunday, November 6, 2022,contingent upon compliance with recommendations from Town departments and in accordance with Procedures for Use of Town-owned Property, Facilities and/or Public Roadways.- To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve the request from the Westport Downtown Association for the use of the Town-owned sidewalk adjacent to 26 Church Lane from June 1, 2022 to October 1, 2022 for the Summer Music Series, contingent upon compliance with recommendations from Town departments and in accordance with Procedures for Use of Town-owned Property, Facilities and/or Public Roadways.
- To take such action as the meeting may determine, upon the recommendation of the Parks & Recreation Commission, to approve the proposed 2022 program fees as follows:

To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve an Assistance Agreement between the Town of Westport and the State of Connecticut regarding a grant for consulting services to update the Town’s Historic Resources Inventory.- To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve a Historic Resources Inventory Consulting Agreement between the Town of Westport and Rachel Carley to perform consulting services to update the Town’s Historic Resources Inventory.
- To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve an Assistance Agreement between the Town of Westport and the State of Connecticut regarding a grant for consulting services to prepare a town-wide preservation plan.

- To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve an Amendment to the 2020 CDBG Project Administrator Agreement between the Town of Westport and
The Housing Collective (formerlyknown asSupportive Housing Works, Inc. to administer additional funds granted to the Town under the 2020 Community Development Block Grant for Homelessness Diversionary Services. - Acting in its capacity as the Water Pollution Control Authority (WPCA) and in accordance with Connecticut General Statutes, to approve the final benefit assessments to be levied against properties that obtained supplemental sanitary sewer connection approval during 2021.
- Acting in its capacity as the Water Pollution Control Authority (WPCA), to determine preliminary benefit assessments to be levied for the construction of a sewer system (Contract No. 73) affecting properties located in all or part of the following areas:
Whitney Street, Roseville Road, Fernwood Road, Plumtree Lane, Pamela Place and Ledgemoor Lane.
- Acting in its capacity as the Water Pollution Control Authority (WPCA), to determine preliminary benefit assessments to be levied for the construction of a sewer system (Contract No. 75) affecting properties located in all or part of the following areas:
Evergreen Avenue, Evergreen Parkway, Tamarac Road, Lone Pine Lane, Gorham Avenue, Compo Road North and Brookside Drive.
