The Board of Selectmen and Water Pollution Control Authority meeting schedule is posted to the town's web calendar each February for the following 12 months.  See below for proposed standing meeting dates which are subject to change.  Consult the calendar as the meeting date approaches for agenda and updates.

Notice & Agenda

 

Notice is hereby given that the Westport Board of Selectwomen, Traffic Authority, and Water Pollution Control Authority will hold a public meeting on Wednesday, February 9, 2022, at 9:00 AM in the Westport Town Hall Auditorium, 110 Myrtle Avenue, Westport, Connecticut. It will be livestreamed on www.westportct.gov and broadcast on Westport’s Optimum Government Access Channel 79 and Frontier Channel 6020. Comments from the public regarding agenda items may be sent to selectwoman@westportct.gov prior to the meeting. Agenda to include but not be limited to the following items (subject to revision):

 

  1. To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve the minutes of the Board of Selectwomen’s meeting of January 26, 2022.

     

  2. To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve the following Resolution as it relates to the FFY 2021 Emergency Management Performance Grant Application and the FFY 2021 State Homeland Security Grant Application to the State of Connecticut Emergency Services and Public Protection, Division of Emergency Management and Homeland Security:

     

    RESOLVED, that the Town of Westport may enter into with and deliver to the State of Connecticut Department of Emergency Services and Public Protection, Division of Emergency Management and Homeland Security any and all documents which it deems to be necessary or appropriate; and

     

    FURTHER RESOLVED, that Jennifer S. Tooker, as First Selectwoman of the Town of Westport, is authorized and directed to execute and deliver any and all documents on behalf of the Town of Westport and to do and perform all acts and things which she deems to be necessary or appropriate to carry out the terms of such documents, including, but not limited to, executing and delivering all agreements and documents contemplated by such documents.

     

  3. To take such action as the meeting may determine, to approve the Master Customer Agreement between Motorola Solutions, Inc., and the Town of Westport as it relates to equipment and services for Police Department body cameras.

     

  4. To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve the Agreement for Professional Services by and between the Town of Westport and TaxServ Capital Services, LLC for the collection of various delinquent taxes.

     

  5. To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve the First Amendment to Assistance Agreement between the State of Connecticut and the Town of Westport under the Small Cities/Community Development Block Grant Program for CDBG-CV Funds as it relates to increasing amount of funds for the Fairfield Shelter Diversion Program – Westport.
  6. To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve a consulting agreement between the Town of Westport and Positive Directions for substance misuse prevention services.

  7. To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve the award of contract, Bid # 22-035T, State Project No. 158-216, Replacement of Bridge No. 04969, Bayberry Lane Extension over the Aspetuck River, in the amount of $2,088,616.30 to the qualified bidder, New England Road, Inc. (NERI).

     

  8. Acting in its capacity as the Water Pollution Control Authority, to approve the supplemental sanitary sewer connection at 3 Lakeview Road contingent upon compliance with the WPCA Collection System Supervisor’s letter of January 28, 2022.

     

  9. Acting in its capacity as the Water Pollution Control Authority, to approve the supplemental sanitary sewer connection at 58 Colony Road contingent upon compliance with the WPCA Collection System Supervisor’s letter of January 31, 2022.
