Notice is hereby given that the Architectural Review Board will hold an electronic public meeting on Tuesday, May 24, 2022, at 7:30 PM for the following purpose:
1. To approve minutes from the April 26, 2022, meeting.
2. 371 Post Road East
To review and comment on the proposed signage at 371 Post Road East (Parcel ID# D09//150/000) submitted by Tracy Becker, Sign Pro, for property owned by Peoples United Bank National Association located in GBD/A. Comments offered at the meeting will be considered in anticipation of further zoning review and approvals.
3. 351 Post Road West
To review and comment on the proposed signage at 351 Post Road West (Parcel ID# B07//036/000) submitted by Tracy Becker, Sign Pro, for property owned by Peoples United Bank National Association located in GBD/A. Comments offered at the meeting will be considered in anticipation of further zoning review and approvals.
4. 1 Burr Road
To review and comment on the proposed Text Amendment and plan to redevelop the site into a modern Memory Care Facility. This Facility will adaptively reuse the existing building, infill a small portion of first floor space, and involve minor 2nd & 3rd floor additions, relocation of mechanicals to the roof, new mansard roof, parking and landscape improvements, and a new brick façade more in keeping with the surrounding neighborhood. The total bed count will be reduced from 120 to 68 allowing for better privacy and enhanced day to day operations. at 1 Burr Road (Parcel ID# C09//089/000) submitted by David Pinto, Redniss & Mead for property owned by 1 Burr Road LLC located in RORD1. Comments offered at the meeting will be considered in anticipation of further zoning review and approvals.
5. *1595 Post Road East
To review and comment on the proposed transformation of existing vacant hotel from 117 rooms to 41 hotel rooms and 10 apartments. The front of the building will be demolished to create better parking, circulation, landscaping, and a new addition to the west side. The rear building will be redeveloped with 41 hotel rooms at 1595 Post Road East (Parcel ID# H09//120/000) submitted by Rick Redniss, Redniss & Mead for property owned by W I Associates located in General Business District/A. Comments offered at the meeting will be considered in anticipation of further zoning review and approvals.
