LEGAL NOTICE & AGENDA

Notice is hereby given that the Board of Selectmen, Traffic Authority and Water Pollution Control Authority will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, March 23, 2011, at 4 p.m. in Room 309 of the Westport Town Hall for the following purpose(s):

1. To take such action as the meeting may determine, acting in its capacity as the Water Pollution Control Authority and in accordance with Chapter 103 of the Connecticut General Statutes, will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, March 23, 2011 at 4 p.m. in Room 309 of the Westport Town Hall to consider proposed assessments and to determine final assessments to be levied for the construction or acquisition of a sewerage system affecting supplemental sanitary sewer connections approved during 2010. A copy of the proposed assessments is on file in the Office of the Town Clerk and is available for inspection by the public.

2. To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve the minutes of the Board of Selectmen’s public hearing of March 9, 2011, and to approve the minutes of the Water Pollution Control Authority’s public hearing of March 9, 2011.

3. To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve an agreement between the Historic District Commission and Miggs Burroughs for creation of a informational brochure for the West Parish Meeting House Historic Property and State Archaeological Site.

4. To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve an application for a CLG Supplemental Grant in the amount of $30,000 for the purpose of updating the Historic Resources Inventory, contingent upon appropriation approval by the Board of Finance.

5. To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve a residential lease agreement for town-owned property located at 52 Compo Road South.

6. To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve a contract between the Town of Westport and Connecticut Light & Power Company as relates to a charging station.

7. To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve a contract between the Town of Westport and LexisNexis Vital Chek Network, Inc. for on-line order processing as relates to vital records in the Town Clerk’s Office.
