LEGAL NOTICE OF HEARING

The Zoning Board of Appeals of Westport will hold a Public Hearing in Town Hall, 110 Myrtle Avenue on Tuesday, November 27, 2012 at 7:30 p.m. in Town Hall to hear the following applications seeking relief from the Westport Zoning Regulations:

1. 37 Burnham Hill: ZBA Appl. #7098 by Maria Tziolis for property owned by Meredith and Scott Cohen for an appeal of Planning and Zoning Director, Larry Bradley’ decision not to require a zoning permit for a driveway modification in a Res AA zone, PID #D05028000.

2. 79 Valley Road: ZBA Appl. #7099 by Noah Hammond for property owned by Noah Hammond for a variance to Sec 6-3.1 (Non Conforming Setbacks), Sec 13-4 (Setbacks), Sec 13-5 (Height), Sec 13-6 (Coverage), Sec 6-2.1.6 (All new construction shall be in accordance with these regulations), Sec 6-2.1.7 (Non Conforming Setbacks), Sec 6-2.2 (Non Conforming Coverage) for an addition in the setbacks, over coverage and over the allowable height in a Res A zone, PID #D06121000.

3. 70/88 North Avenue: ZBA Appl. #7100 by the Town of Westport for property owned by the Town of Westport for a variance to Sec 11-6 (Coverage), Sec 11-2.4.8 (Accessory Structure Over 300 Square Feet), for two dugouts with storage shed and scoreboard over coverage in a Res AAA zone, PID #F12077000.

4. 6 Quarter Mile Road: ZBA Appl. #7101 by Eric Bernheim/Lawrence Weisman for property owned by Westport 1 Trust and Amended Revocable Trust for a variance to Sec 11-3 (Lot Area and Shape), Sec 6-3 ( Non Conforming Lot) for development of a one acre parcel and a two acre zone is a Res AAA zone, PID # B14085000.

5. 1317 Post Road East: ZBA Appl. #7012 by Country Realty Co. c/o Jackie Kaufman, Esq. Sandak, Hennessey and Greco, LLP for property owned by Country Realty Co. for a variance to Sec 24-4 (Setbacks), for façade renovations and signage in the setbacks in a GBD zone, PID #G09105000.

6. 455 Post Road East: ZBA Appl. #7017 by John Massari, Accent Signs, LLC for property owned by Connecticut Humane Society for a variance to Sec 24-10, (Signs), Sec 33-8.4.5 (Free Standing Sign over 32 square feet), for a free standing sign over allowable square footage in a GBD zone, PID #D09161000.

At this Hearing interested persons may be heard and written communications received for all applications. These applications may be seen and examined in the office of the Zoning Board of Appeals, Room 203, Town Hall, 110 Myrtle Avenue, Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 8:30 am to 3:00 pm and Tuesday and Thursday, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.
