LEGAL NOTICE OF DECISION

Notice is hereby given that at a meeting held on May 6, 2021 the Westport Planning and Zoning Commission took the following action:
 

  1. POSITIVE REPORT: 136 Riverside Avenue aka 170 Riverside Ave.:  §8-24 Request by the First Selectman on behalf of a request from Redniss and Mead working on behalf of Abilis, for a report from the Planning and Zoning Commission regarding renovations to and use of Town-owned property for Special Needs Housing as described in §32-27 of the Zoning Regulations, for Special Needs Individuals as defined in §5-2, located in the Residence A District, PID #C08032000.
  1. GRANTED: 136 Riverside Avenue aka 170 Riverside Ave.: Special Permit/Site Plan Appl. #PZ-21-00102 submitted by Redniss and Mead working on behalf of Abilis, for property owned by the Town of Westport to accommodate Special Needs Housing as described in §32-27 of the Zoning Regulations including a second floor addition to the existing building, interior and exterior renovations, and site work to accommodate four (4) Special Needs Individuals as defined in §5-2 of the Zoning Regulations, in four (4) Dwelling Units, and one (1) Dwelling Unit for an income-eligible staff person, for a total of five (5) Dwelling Units, on property located in the Residence A District, PID #C08032000.

 

The above items were granted/approved/denied with modifications, which are on file with the Planning and Zoning Office in Town Hall at 110 Myrtle Avenue and available on-line at www.westportct.gov

 

A copy of the Legal Notice of Decision is available on-line at www.westportct.gov, on the Planning and Zoning Department “Pending Applications and Recent Approvals” page. Due to the closing of Town Hall to the public during the COVID-19 emergency, and pursuant to the Governor’s Executive Order #7I, the Legal Notice of Decision cannot be viewed at the Westport Town Clerk’s Office or the Westport Planning and Zoning Office at this time.
