Introduction by Gordon F. Joseloff, Westport First Selectman, and presentation by Roger Smith, New England Energy Program Director, Clean Water Action/Clean Water Fund addressing the Westport Home Energy Challenge and opportunities for non-profit and resident involvement.
Join town leaders at the launching of the Westport Home Energy Challenge, a program aimed at helping Westporters make home energy improvements, resulting in increased home energy -efficiency and reduced energy use, financial savings and improved home comfort.
This unique Westport program is designed to improve home energy efficiency by 20 percent or more in at least one thousand Westport homes (10 percent of Westport homes) over a three-year period. The goal is to get homeowners to make home energy improvements beyond those made at a home energy assessment.
