Legal Notice of Decisions

 

Notice is hereby given that at a meeting held on March 2, 2021 the Westport Zoning Board of Appeals took the following action:

 

  1. Granted with Conditions: 37 Soundview Drive: Application #ZBA-20-00960 by Gloria Gouveia, of Land Use Consultants for property owned by Stacy Black Gendels for variance of the Zoning Regulations: §6-3.1 (Non-conforming setbacks), and §13-4 (Setbacks in Residence A district) to install a new FEMA compliant platform and generator, located in Residence A district, PID# E03001000.

     

  2. Granted: 4 Wakeman Place: Application #ZBA- 21-00001 by Michael Greenberg for property owned by 4 Wakeman LLC for variance of the Zoning Regulations: §13-6 (Coverage in Residence A district) to allow construction of 12’x22’ detached garage with related driveway expansion, located in Residence A district, PID# C06084000.

     

  3. Denied: 1510 Post Road East: Application #ZBA-21-00029 by Dave Peck for property owned by Westport Realty LLC for variance of the Zoning Regulations: §33-8.1 (Sign Area), and §33-8.4.1 (Number of Free-standing Signs) to allow for more than 3 free standing signs, and more square footage of free-standing signage than permitted, located in General Business District (GBD) district, PID# H09015000.

     

  4. Granted with Conditions: 472 Riverside Avenue: Application #ZBA-21-00038 by Randy Herberson for property owned by 472 Riverside Group LLC for variance of the Zoning Regulations: §6-2.1.6 (New non-conforming sign), §6-3.1 (Setbacks), §22-4.2 (Setbacks in a RORD #2), and §33-7.3 (Free-standing sign not to exceed fourteen (14) square feet and be set back at least 15 feet from any property line) to construct a 50.92 sq.ft. double-sided, free standing sign, located in Restricted Office-Retail District 2 (RORD2), PID#B06049000.

     

  5. Granted with Conditions: 3 Northgate: Application #ZBA-21-00039 by Tomas Botero for property owned by Lina Ochoa and Carlos Botero for variance of the Zoning Regulations: §12-4 (Setbacks), §6-2.1 (Expansion of Non-conforming building in the setbacks), §6-2.1.6 (New construction), and §6-2.1.7 (Expansion of non-conforming building in the setbacks) for the demolition of house above existing foundation with existing foundation to remain and construction of a two-story house and basement with addition in the setbacks, located in Residence AA district, PID# E11045000.
