Notice is hereby given that the Westport Board of Selectmen, Traffic Authority, and Water Pollution Control Authority will hold a public meeting on Wednesday, August 11, 2021, at 9:00 AM in the Westport Town Hall Auditorium, 110 Myrtle Avenue, Westport, Connecticut. It will be live streamed on www.westportct.gov, and broadcast on Westport’s Optimum Government Access Channel 79 and Frontier Channel 6020. Emails to the Board of Selectmen prior to the meeting may be sent to selectman@westportct.gov. Agenda to include but not be limited to the following items (subject to revision as applicable):

1. To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve the Minutes of the Board of Selectmen’s meeting of July 28, 2021.

    

2. Item #2 postponed from July 28, 2021 Board of Selectmen meeting – subsequently WITHDRAWN by Fire Marshal per letter of August 2, 2021

    

    

   To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve a variance of Town Code Sec. 50-340. Construction Standards. (a) (3) to allow the construction of a temporary curb cut and driveway to be located on Morningside Drive South to serve as temporary emergency vehicle access to 1076 Post Road East (Post Plaza) during construction, contingent upon compliance with the Westport Fire Marshal’s letter of July 16, 2021.

    

3. To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve the Lease Agreement between the Town of Westport and Abilis, Inc. as it relates to the Town owned property known as 136 Riverside Avenue.

    

4. To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve the Consulting Engagement Letter 2021-2022 between the Town of Westport and Westport BOE and Marsh & McLennan Agency and Martin S. Burger, CPCU, ARM, as it relates to insurance consulting services.

    

5. To take such action as the meeting may determine to adopt the WestCOG Multi-Jurisdiction Hazard Mitigation Plan Update, 2021-2026, on behalf of the Town of Westport.

6. To take such action as the meeting may determine to adopt a town statement on diversity, equity and inclusivity.

    

   WORK SESSION – DISCUSSION ONLY

    

7. To review and discuss project ideas and prioritization for American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 (ARPA) funds to be distributed to the Town of Westport.
