The Board of Selectmen and Water Pollution Control Authority meeting schedule is posted to the town's web calendar each February for the following 12 months.  See below for proposed standing meeting dates which are subject to change.  Consult the calendar as the meeting date approaches for agenda and updates.

Notice & Agenda

 

Notice is hereby given that the Westport Board of Selectmen, Traffic Authority, and Water Pollution Control Authority will hold a public meeting on Wednesday, July 14, 2021, at 9:00 AM in the Westport Town Hall Auditorium, 110 Myrtle Avenue, Westport, Connecticut. Emails to the Board of Selectmen prior to the meeting may be sent to selectman@westportct.gov. Agenda to include but not be limited to the following items (subject to revision):

 

  1. To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve the Minutes of the Water Pollution Control Authority’s special meeting of June 18, 2021 and the Minutes of the Board of Selectmen’s meeting of June 23, 2021.

     

  2. Acting in its capacity as the Local Traffic Authority, to take such action as the meeting may determine to review the traffic assessment, dated May 27, 2021 as prepared by Tighe&Bond, and to provide concurrence that the proposed redevelopment at the property known as 1460 Post Road East (Greens Farms Plaza) will not have a significant traffic impact on adjacent local and State roadways; and further, to authorize James S. Marpe, as Chair of the LTA, to notify the State of Connecticut OSTA of its concurrence with the assessment.

     

  3. To take such action as the meeting may determine to:

     

  1. endorse the Town of Westport Fair Housing Policy Statement;
  2. adopt the 2021 Town of Westport Fair Housing Resolution;
  3. endorse the Town of Westport Equal Opportunity Policy Statement;
  4. endorse the Town of Westport Affirmative Action Policy Statement
  5. endorse the Town of Westport Americans with Disabilities Act Policy Statement; and
  6. approve the Town of Westport Grievance Procedure under the American with Disabilities Act.

     

  1. To take such action as the meeting may determine, upon the request of the Personnel Director, to approve the Renewal Agreement between the Town of Westport and EAP (Employee Assistance Group).

     

  2. To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve the Consulting Agreement between the Town of Westport and DigTrees.Com, LLC, as it relates to tree warden services.

     

  3. To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve the Amendment to Software as a Service Subscription Agreement between the Town of Westport and EccoVia, Inc. (formerly ClientTrack, Inc.), as it relates to client database software for the Human Services Department, and to approve the EccoVia Master Services Agreement between the same parties for professional services to upgrade the ClientTrack software.

     

  4. To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve the Letter Agreement between the Town of Westport and Lit Communities, LLC and its subcontractor Widelity Engineering as it relates to a fiber and wireless network assessment designed to assess current connectivity in the Town of Westport.

     

  5. To take such action as the meeting may determine, to approve the ClearGov Service Agreement between the Town of Westport and ClearGov, Inc., for a subscription to the ClearGov cloud-based service for Cloud-based financial and performance management software for local governments.

     

  6. Acting in its capacity as the Water Pollution Control Authority, to approve the request for the supplemental sanitary sewer connection at#4 Colony Road, contingent upon compliance with the WPCA Collection System Supervisor’s letter of June 29, 2021.

     

  7. Acting in its capacity as the Water Pollution Control Authority, to approve the request for the supplemental sanitary sewer connection at#41 North Avenue, contingent upon compliance with the WPCA Collection System Supervisor’s letter of June 29, 2021.
