SPECIAL NOTICE ABOUT PROCEDURES FOR THIS ELECTRONIC MEETING:

Pursuant to the Governor’s Executive Order No. 7B, there will be no physical location for this meeting. This meeting will be held electronically.

Members of the public may use the meeting instructions below to attend the meeting by PHONE as it will not be streaming live on the Town’s website nor available for viewing on public access television. The meeting will be available for future viewing in the archived meeting section of the Town’s website.

Public Comments will be received during the meeting after persons are recognized by the Subcommittee Chair, Danielle Dobin.   Public comments prior to the meeting may be sent to PandZ@westportct.gov, but these will not be read aloud at the meeting.

Affordable Housing Subcommittee

Tuesday, June 9, 2020   12:00pm  

  1. Introduce the work of the Subcommittee for new meeting attendees.

     

  2. Update on request to ConnDOT for transfer of portion of property at 900 Post Road East to the Westport Housing Authority.

     

  3. Discussion on removing §4-5, Maximum Allowable Multi-Family Dwellings.

     

  4. Continue discussion regulation changes regarding Accessory Dwelling Units to encourage the availability of additional affordable dwellings in Westport.Consider proposal to bring to the Planning and Zoning Commission for a Sense of the Meeting.

     

  5. Begin discussing framework for new overlay zone for projects that are 70% affordable.
