Meeting Notice & Agenda October 2, 2019Notice is hereby given that the Westport UN Hospitality Committee will hold a public meeting on Wednesday, October 2, 2019 from 10am to 12pm in Room 201 of Westport Town Hall for the following purposes (subject to revision):
Status of education partnerships with Yale, QU, ASI, NCC, UB and Westport Public Schools
Ideas for programs supporting UN orgs, eg UNICEF, UNHCR, UNESCO, WFP, WHO, UNDP
October 8th organizing meeting in Greenwich
October 17th UN Spokesman Stephane Dujarric will speak at UNASWCT chapter event to help us better lead opinion makers while advocating ideals and vital work of the UN.
October 23rd (new date) is Westport Library 'The World and US' monthly discussion group. Readings will reflect the 75 year history of US relationship with the UN.

10/23 at NCC free 40 minute training 2-3pm 'The Message and the Medium'
Community leaders, NCC students/faculty, internationally minded advocates, climate and social justice activists and career-minded young adults. Access resources to create a communications toolkit for your next climate action or other grassroots events. Presenter Sarah Hopkins is UNAUSA Communications and Digital Media Officer serving 20,000-members.
