LEGAL NOTICE OF MEETING



Notice is hereby given that the Westport Parks and Recreation Commission will hold a meeting Monday, May 21, 2012 at 7:30 p.m. in Town Hall conference room #201/201A to consider the following:

1. Approval of Minutes

2. Presentation by students in the Greens Farms Elementary School Workshop program in issues related to parks and recreation in Westport.

3. Update from Friends of Westport Parks and Recreation.

4. To take such action as the meeting may determine relative to a request from the Westport Rotary Club to host a Community Lobster Festival at Compo Beach on September 22, 2012.

5. To take such action as the meeting may determine relative to a request by the Longshore Men’s Golf Association to host a fundraising event at Longshore Club Park in September 2012.

6. To take such action as the meeting may determine regarding a proposal for improvements to the Wakeman Park softball field proposed by the Staples High School Softball Booster Club.

7. To take such action as the meeting may determine relative to leases with Joseph Romeo for food concessions at Compo Beach and Longshore Club Park.
