WESTPORT SHELLFISH COMMISSION

JANUARY 8, 2020

Notice is hereby given that a Meeting of the Westport Shellfish Commission is scheduled for Wednesday, January 8, 2020 at 6:30 p.m. in Room 102 of the Westport Town Hall, 110 Myrtle Avenue to take such action as the meeting may determine regarding the following:

1. Approval of November 19, 2019 Meeting minutes.
2. Treasurer’s Report
3. Police Report
4. Recreational Shellfish Report
5. New Business

   a.  Request for Shellfish Commission Determination for a CT Department of Energy and Environmental Protection bridge replacement project on Sherwood Island Lane at Mill Creek – Project will include temporary cofferdam, temporary water handling measures, road and bridge construction, and site restoration. The new bridge will be constructed north of the existing bridge and the existing bridge removed.

   b.  2019 recreational year summary

   c.  Review of 2020 meeting calendar

6. Old Business

   a.  Canal Beach signage

7. Other Business

Executive Session: The Commission will vote to go into Executive Session to discuss employment matters.
