The Board of Selectmen and Water Pollution Control Authority meeting schedule is posted to the town's web calendar each February for the following 12 months.  See below for proposed standing meeting dates which are subject to change.  Consult the calendar as the meeting date approaches for agenda and updates.

Notice & Agenda

Notice is hereby given that the Westport Board of Selectmen, Traffic Authority and Water Pollution Control Authority will hold a public meeting on Wednesday, September 25, 2019 at 9:00 a.m. in Westport Town Hall Room 201/201A (NOTE ROOM CHANGE) for the following purposes to include, but not be limited to, the following:

 

  1. To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve the minutes of the Board of Selectmen’s meeting of September 11, 2019 and the Board of Selectmen’s Special Meeting of September 16, 2019.

     

  2. To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve the closure of the Imperial Avenue Parking Lot on Sunday, October 13, 2019 for the Westport Woman’s Club Food Truck Event, contingent upon compliance with recommendations from relevant Town departments and in accordance with the Policy for Use of Town-owned Properties, Facilities and/or Roadways.

     

  3. To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve the closure of Main Street from Post Road to Avery Place, Avery Place to Myrtle Avenue and Myrtle Avenue from Evergreen Avenue to Main Street for the Parks & Recreation Halloween Parade on Tuesday, October 29, 2019, contingent upon compliance with recommendations from relevant Town departments and in accordance with the Policy for Use of Town-owned Properties, Facilities and/or Roadways.

     

  4. To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve a Subordination Agreement that subordinates the Town’s pedestrian easement at 325 Riverside Avenue to an easement being granted by the property owner to DEEP as part of an environmental land use restriction on the property.

     

  5. To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve revisions and updates to the Town of Westport Pop-Up Seating and Pop-Up Café Policy and Guidelines, as previously approved by the Board of Selectmen on March 14, 2012.
