LEGAL NOTICE AND AGENDA Revised 11.8.11 *
Notice is hereby given that the Westport Historic District Commission will hold a public hearing at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 8, 2011 in Town Hall Room 201 for the following purposes:
1. To approve the minutes of the September 28, 2011 work session, the October 11, 2011 public hearing and the October 13, 2011 site visit.
2. To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve a Certificate of Appropriateness Application dated October 25, 2011 for the proposed reconstruction of the second floor of the garage at 10 Wild Rose Road located in the Gorham Avenue Historic District.
3. To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve a Certificate of Appropriateness Application dated October 26, 2011 for the proposed replacement of windows and siding at 69 Kings Highway North located in the Kings Highway North Historic District.
4. To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve a Certificate of Appropriateness Application dated
October 26, 2011 for the proposed installation of windows along the east patio wall at 5E Gorham Avenue located in the Gorham Avenue Historic District.
5. To review and comment on Historic Design District Application dated October 14, 2011 for proposed modification of signage at 18 Post Road West.
6. To review and comment on Historic Design District Application dated October 26, 2011
for proposed window and door modifications at 12 Wilton Road.
7. To take such action as the meeting may determine to waive the balance of delay for a demolition permit application at 144 Old Road. *
8. To take such action as the meeting may determine to waive the balance of delay for a demolition permit application at 5 Old Hill Farms Road.
9. To take such action as the meeting may determine to waive the balance of delay for a demolition permit application at 21 Woodhill Road.
10. To take such action as the meeting may determine to waive the balance of delay for a demolition permit application at 15 Turkey Hill Road South.
11. To take such action as the meeting may determine to waive the balance of delay for a demolition permit application at 561 Post Road East for the removal of 624 sq. ft. of the existing 16,732 sq. ft. building.
12. To take such action as the meeting may determine to waive the balance of delay for a demolition permit application at 40 Harbor Road.
13. To review and comment on Planning and Zoning transmittal for Text Amendment #642/P&Z Appl. #11-053 to modify Section 5, Definition of half-story and floor area, to modify Section 32-12, Inclusionary two-family and multi-family dwellings and to modify Section39A, Inclusionary Housing Overlay District.
