Notice is hereby given that the Westport Board of Selectmen, Traffic Authority and Water Pollution Control Authority will hold a public meeting on Wednesday, January 9, 2019 at 9:00 a.m. in Westport Town Hall Room 307/309 for the following purposes (subject to revision):
1.To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve minutes of the Board of Selectmen meeting of December 12, 2018 and the Board of Selectmen/Traffic Authority’s Special Meeting of December 27, 2018.
2.To take such action as the meeting may determine to accept the gift of real property known as 0 Compo Road North, and further, to authorize the First Selectman to recommend its acceptance by the Representative Town Meeting in accordance with the Town of Westport Policy for Gifts to the Town.
3.To take such action as the meeting may determine to authorize First Selectman James Marpe to execute the Certification of Compliance with the Requirements of 24 CFR 570.606 and Residential Anti-Displacement and Relocation Assistance Plan required by 24 CFR 42.325 as it relates to the displacement, relocation, acquisition, and replacement of housing in connection with Community Development Block (“CDBG”) - assisted projects.
4.To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve the Consulting Services Agreement by and between the Town of Westport and Centek Engineering, Inc. as it relates to Wireless Telecommunications Tower Consulting and Inspection Services for Town-owned property located at 515 Post Road West as further described in RFP 19-945T.
5.To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve the Virtual Net Metering (“VNM”) Agreement between Connecticut Light and Power Company d/b/a Eversource Energy and the Town of Westport as it relates to participation in the VNM program.
6.To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve an Amendment to the terms of the Lease Agreement between the Town of Westport and Homes With Hope, Inc., dated November 1, 2009, as it relates to the Town-owned property at 655 Post Road East known as Linxweiler House.
7.To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve the renewal of the Agreement between the Town of Westport and Janik Golf, LLC, dated April 10, 2017.
8.To take such action as the meeting my determine to approve a resolution as it relates to FFY 2018 State Homeland Security Grant Program Region I Memorandum of Agreement that will allow the City of Stamford to handle regional monies on the Town of Westport’s behalf for Regional FEMA block grants, and to authorize James S. Marpe to sign any and all such documentation as he deems appropriate to carry out the terms of such documents. (Resolution language to be provided)
9.To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve the Agreement for Services by and between the Town of Westport and Streetscan, Inc. as it relates to certain pavement inspection and automated management services for Town roadways as further described in the Project Proposal submitted October 26, 2018.
10.To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve the Amendment to the Application Service Provider Agreement, dated March 18, 2008, between the Town of Westport and Tyler Technologies, Inc. as it relates to the renewal of the term and associated fees.
11.To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve the Addendum to the Master Agreement for Products and Services between the Town of Westport and Cott Systems, Inc. as it relates to the conversion of indexing and vendor services to a new platform known as RECORDhub.
12.To take such action as the meeting may determine to authorize First Selectman James Marpe to execute and deliver the contract between the State of Connecticut, Connecticut State Library and the Town of Westport as it relates to the 2019 Historic Document Preservation Grant award in the amount of $6,500.
13.To take such action as the meeting may determine, acting in its capacity as the Water Pollution Control Authority to approve the supplemental sanitary sewer connection at property known as 33 Elm Street, contingent upon compliance with the WPCA Collection System Supervisor’s letter of December 21, 2018.
