LEGAL NOTICE AND AGENDA


Notice is hereby given that the Westport Historic District Commission will hold a public hearing at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday January 8, 2019, in Town Hall Room 201/201A for the following purposes: 


PUBLIC HEARING  


1. To hear the Chair’s report and update on current HDC activities.

2. To approve the minutes of the December 11, 2018 executive session and public hearing.

3. To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve the 15 Hyatt Lane Draft Study Report for Local Historic Property Designation.

4. To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve the 39 Cross Highway Draft Study Report for Local Historic Property designation.

5. To discuss and approve draft comments by the Chair in response to the Planning and Zoning Transmittal for the proposed Text Amendment #757 to create a new section in the zoning regulations, Section 19C Residential-Medium Density Opportunity Zone (R-MDHOZ) and associated Map Amendment #758 to change the zoning from Residence A zone (.5A) to R-MDHOZ.

6. To discuss and approve draft comments by the Chair in response to the Planning and Zoning Transmittal for Site Plan application pursuant to 8-30g of the Connecticut General Statutes to demolish the existing farmhouse and construct 19 three bedroom units on approximately 3.2 acres, and designating 6 of the 19 units as affordable units at 20 and 26 Morningside Drive located in the 20 and 26 Morningside Drive South Local Historic District.

7. To take such action as the meeting may determine to oppose the issuance of the demolition permit at 14 North Maple Avenue, c. 1925, identified on the Historic Resources Inventory, and require the full 180-day delay.

8. To take such action as the meeting may determine to oppose the issuance of the demolition permit at 13 Hunting Lane and require the full 180-day delay.

9. To take such action as the meeting may determine to oppose the issuance of the demolition permit at 56 Bulkley Avenue North and require the full 180-day delay.

10. To take such action as the meeting may determine to oppose the issuance of the demolition permit at 28 Buena Vista Drive and require the full 180-day delay.
