NOTICE OF DECISION
Notice is hereby given
that at a continuance meeting held on September
25, 2018, the Westport Historic District Commission took the following
actions:
- DENIED:
Certificate of Appropriateness Application dated July 27,
2018 for the proposed demolition of the Charles Sherwood/George Hughes
House c.1853/1938, at 26
Morningside Drive South (main house) located in the 20 and 26
Morningside Drive South Local Historic District.
- DENIED:
Due to the denial of the Certificate of Appropriateness
Application for the demolition of the main house at 26 Morningside Drive South located
in the 20 and 26 Morningside Drive south Local Historic District, no
demolition permit may be issued for this structure.
3. DENIED: Certificate of Appropriateness Application dated
July 27, 2018 for the demolition of the shed at 26 Morningside Drive South located in the 20 and 26 Morningside
Drive South Local Historic District.
4. DENIED: Due
to the denial of the Certificate of
Appropriateness for the demolition of the shed at 26 Morningside Drive
South, located in the 20 and 26 Morningside Drive South Local historic District,
no demolition permit may be issued for this structure.
- DENIED: Certificate of Appropriateness Application dated
July 27, 2018 for the demolition of the studio at 20 Morningside Drive South located in the 20 and 26
Morningside Drive South Local Historic District.
6. DENIED: Due to the denial of the Certificate
of Appropriateness for the demolition of the
studio at 20 Morningside Drive South,
located in the 20 and 26 Morningside Drive South Local Historic District,
no demolition permit may be issued for this structure.
The above items are on file in the
Historic District Commission Office in Town Hall at 110 Myrtle Avenue.
